Games You Are The Best At

During the PS2 days it was the Madden series. On PS3 it was Tiger Woods. I was always tops on that amongst my friends. Nowadays I guess it's Adventure games? It's not really applicable to me anymore, because I don't play fighting games, FPS, racing, or many sports games anymore and those are obviously the ones which hold a competitive nature where you can play online or directly against someone else

I am very good at the Madden series also. I would say that I am good at most sports games because the controls are easier to master.

Pretty good at most games except for racing games. Best at FPS, then again most are. Pretty good at other games too like LOL and puzzle games.

I'm mediocre at all game genres and a master of none -well that's what my wife said :(
You two play together? Could be she's jealous of your skills :)

I'm pretty good at third person action games (Dead Space, Mass Effect, Last of Us, GTAV) but I've also mastered first person shooters too. Don't play a lot of those anymore but when I do, I'm pretty good.

I have never really gotten to competitive in a lot of games, but Guitar Hero grabbed me and wouldn't let go when that was in its prime. I wasn't ever going to be competitive on the net at the highest level but in my circle I felt like a king! xD

Not as much as when we where dating. I use to import games and she'd translate them for me as I play...ah but we're too old for that I guess lol

BUT I'd say I am pretty good at games like Skyrim, Fallout 3 etc. I used to be good at MMO's before they turned into a fashion show lol

I used to be killer at Goldeneye on N64. And Perfect Dark, of course. Still some of my favorite games of all time.

I'd say I'm best at fighting games, although I'm not really too good at it compared to other people who spend more time on it. I rarely spend time memorizing combos and I even when I do I instantly forget about them by the next session, but whatever default moves and my own custom combos I have learned works well for me and I'm at least able to put up a good challenge for some of my friends who are a little bit more seasoned.

I consider myself to be pretty decent at Tomb Raider and have been since day one (almost). I don’t know why or what it is but it’s always been a series that appealed to me and something which I always seem to excel on. The first two games I played back to back more times than I care to remember. It must be in double figures. Even though I’ve not played either for several years, I bet I could still remember the level layouts, what to do without too much thought/delay and probably where at least half the secrets are. They still remain some of the happiest memories in gaming – I used to do them at the weekends with my best friend. We’d share turns at the controllers.

The third game I found pretty difficult and I’ll happily admit that I did rage quit a few times. I think I’ve only completed that twice, maybe three times… I don’t recall that much about The Last Revelation or Chronicles (strangely… It would probably come back if I played them again…) but both of those have also been done a few times. The subsequent games I don’t recall completing any more than once – simply because as I’ve got older I’ve found less personal time… A shame really as I’d love to go over a few of them again.

In terms of racing games, I mastered just about everything possible in TOCA 1 and 2. I’m generally competent in the Gran Turismo series also but certainly not at the same level as TOCA.

The only other game that comes to mind which I recall being decent at was Command & Conquer Red Faction. With help from my best friend, it was something else which I seemed to develop large and usually impenetrable bases from in a short space of time…! I really miss that series of games…

Other than that, I think I’m pretty much average at most other games I've played.

If you’re looking at fighting games or anything of the FPS genre such as Call Of Duty – you're probably looking at about the worst out there. I just can't for the life of me get to grips with accurate, precise shooting.

I'm best at business management sims, RPGs, wrestling, and platformers. I would add NHL games to the list, but being good at a series of sports games...ehhh. After you've played two in a series, you've pretty much mastered any future titles.

RPGs mainly. The reason is that I actually enjoy grinding and levelling my characters up, collecting just about every item I can etc. I suppose it's more of a case of perseverance than anything else!

I'm the same with RPGs. Grinding is actually relaxing and when there's stats that you're allowed to apply points to? I'm in heaven when it comes to gaming.
