Seems like. Although wild mass guessing is always fun :P

I'll be sure to let you know if I hear anything about it, but I think for now we should shush before we get told off.

Its too bad, I wasn't expcting it to be a big hit on the Vita anyways, o I think they dodged a bullet, 2k should stick to PC and consoles

What exactly about the Vita needs to be "saved?" The sales? The games (which I happen to adore)? The incredibly high price of memory cards? While it would be nice to have Bioshock on the Vita, it is not something that would drastically increase sales.

I think that the general consensus among western gamers is... the western market. (but yeah, also the high price of memory cards!!)

You are right that Bioshock or any 1 game wouldn't drastically increase sales at this point, but if there would have been a few successful "blockbuster" games in the beginning of it's lifespan it would have gained a better foothold in the western market. At this point it is too risky for those games to spend a lot of money on a experience that is unique to the hardware.

The Vita has however, opened my eyes to a lot of new games I would have never played in the past. Persona 4 and Muramasa, for example, are games I wouldn't have touched until I was dying for new games on my beloved Vita. It has been a great experience for me.

You kind of answered your own question there, don't you think?

Sales are good. They're just not remarkable in the States so we consider the console, the system, a failure. Further: http://www.forbes.com/sites/davidthi...n-vita-demand/

A bit off topic but is anyone else pissed they are bringing out a port of B1 to ios? So frustrating as the game would be ideal for Vita.

I'm not sure whether this was supposed to be a new game or not, but re-releasing an old game on hardware that's not selling well probably isn't a good business decision. My guess is that 2K Games would rather focus their energies on products for the PS4 and XONE.

Well, I wasn't just referring to the sales, but all the things you just mentioned of course. Also important is the bit further down in the article, where they say that Sony may have hampered the productions of the Vita. So sure, the sales are good compared to how much they're making, but not as good as Sony originally intended them to be. We're still waiting on the sales figures I believe though

I don't think the Vita is a sinking ship. It just is losing its mass appeal by becoming an indie and Japanese games machine. Which is alright by me, honestly, but very niche.
