Chronological Creativity & Concept Playing: Morrowind & DLC

I hear alot of players complaining about the ESO DLC timeline and how it dont make sense. In truth it all can/does depending on your character design. First let me address the issue of LORE BREAKING... Since TES has always allowed any character to be all and everything its really upto you if you lore break. What I mean is if your character is a member of the fighters guild, mages guild, thieves and dark brotherhood as well as other story factions then its your own fault that you painted yourself into a concept corner so to speak. TES allows you the freedom to do so but it also allows you the freedom to NOT do so for concept, some people never grasp this and think, "well, since they let me join them all then i guess I should." Again this isnt wrong in anyway, but lets not complain about concept, lore, and timelines when you chose to be a power stacked brick. Its lore breaking to join the thieves guild and DB for example since one was created to counter the other,(Dark Brotherhood were thieves who decided to kill e.g.). Lets not blame the game creators for lore breaking when it suits YOUR purpose but not when you want ever underwhelming guild power just to have it.
Second, as far as the timeline seeming out of order to some people this could be due to the same issues. If you didnt join DB then some of the issues with timeline are automatically fixed. I for example have characters where joining some guilds dont make sense so I just dont join. My Nord DK wouldnt be a member of the mages guild or DB. But why stop at just that, I also abandon quest dont fit as well. Why would my nord, being a member of the fighter guild, do a quest to aid a daedra or ally myself with a vampire since the fighters guild hunt and destroy them. There are alot of examples with this. I also have a wood elf that would never purchase wood working or use a poison made from plants. I also would never play a Templar and take a quest to steal an item or break into a home. Like I have already mentioned, this is your choice and I am not saying its the wrong way but its not the only way to play your role. Even in PVP you dont end up using half these powers you gain from guilds anyway, nor do you miss out on skill points since the game literally gives you more than you ever need for a character. I like to think of it as a buffet, you wouldnt goto Golden Coral and get everything in the building put on your plate just cause you can.
Which leads to my final point about the DLC timelines. Just do what fits the character and the majority of these issues players are having with thing not making sense will resolve. If you like playing the everything-is-everything guy then ignore the story plot holes. Just remember its not always ESO fault.

Interesting way to think of it. I want every achievement so I gotta do everything lol. But I don't complain when I'm helping Vampire hunters kill vampires on my vampire toon. It felt weird yes but I want the achievement for doing x amount of quests so there. It'd be cool tho if quests tailored to your toons race, class, and status of vamp or ww. I can imagine it'd be a lot of work to make it so but it would be cool. I know some quests, depending on race, you do get different conversations and options. So it can be done.

Nothing wrong with that. Like you said, you dont complain. I dont feel there is any wrong way to play but I do have issues with the 'have your cake and eat it too' people sometimes. I feel they blame the game rather than themselves. But theres nothing wrong with doing it all if thats what you play for, then do it
